CTSP’s social, environmental and charity initiatives in Q1 2017

In the first three months of 2017 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” (CTSP, member of UCL Holding) spent over 3,8 million rubles on the corporate social, environmental and charity initiatives (2,4 times more than in the same period last year).

2 million rubles were spent on the social program, including social support of the employees (RUR 1,2 million), such as training, health care services, sports and leisure.

 Over RUR 800 000 were paid out to the employees, including emergency payments, baby bonuses and retirement bonuses. Bonuses were also paid to the employees celebrating anniversaries.

Over RUR 800 000 were spent on environment protection, including environmental monitoring, waste management, preparation of compulsory environmental documents (RUR 553 000) and protection of water resources, wastewater treatment, maintenance of treatment facilities and storm water pumping stations (RUR 224 000).

RUR 1 million was donated to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg subway on 03.04.2017 

 

Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (member of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern container handling facility in the 4th cargo handling area of the Big Port of Saint-Petersburg. In 2016 the terminal handled 557 800 TEU.
