CTSP’s investments in modernization of port infrastructure up 17,4% in H1 2017

In the first half of 2017 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP, member of UCL Holding) invested RUB 367,7 million in modernization of port infrastructure (17,4% increase YOY).

RUB 228,5 million were spent on new machinery and equipment. This included two Kalmar shuttle carriers and four Toyota forklifts. Besides, the company signed agreements for the supply of a reachstacker (Kalmar), five tractors (Kalmar) with semitrailers (Seacom), two Kalmar’s and two Toyota’s forklifts.

Approximately RUB 139,2 million were spent on development of port facilities, expansion of video surveillance system and upgrading of IT infrastructure, including renovation of terminal’s security checkpoint and initial stage of expansion of electronic data storage system.

 

Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (member of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern container handling facility in the 4th cargo handling area of the Big Port of St. Petersburg. In 2016 the terminal handled 557,800 TEUs.
