Kirill Atamanov was appointed as Commercial Director of Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC on 20 September 2021.

Kirill Atamanov graduated from Russian State University of Trade and Economics with a degree in Global Economy and specialization in International Economic Activity of Companies and Firms.     

Kirill Atamanov has been in container logistics for over 15 years. In 2005-2021, he rose through the ranks within A.P. Moller - Maersk Group from an apprentice to a Regional Director (Cluster General Manager, Sealand – A Maersk Company, Europe & Mediterranean) in Russia, Finland and the Baltic States. In 2008-2012, he held the position of Maersk’s Far East branch Director. Before being appointed to Vladivostok, he spent 1.5 years at the Maersk’s Tokyo office as Analyst. Basic experience is in sales and customer service in international container logistics.  Kirill Atamanov was also engaged in development and implementation of logistic solutions for foreign economic activities of industrial enterprises in Russia, Europe and APR countries.

Among the achievements of Kirill Atamanov is the launching of services and consistently growing sales of the Far East container line between 2008 and 2012, market share retention with the growth of revenues and sales margin of the container line in Saint-Petersburg and on the Black Sea between 2012 and 2021, the line office opening in Nakhodka, building and development of several successful commercial teams, participation in projects including the launching of Phase 1 of Maersk’s hi-tech cold store in Saint-Petersburg being a unique facility for Russia, contribution to introduction of digital services and document flow on the line.
