In 2019, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP) handled 758,610 TEUs, that exceeds the result of 2018 by 5.1%.
Imports grew by 6.1%, year-on-year, to 369,650 TEUs including 82,980 TEUs of loaded reefer containers. Exports totaled 388,960 TEUs, 4.1% more than in 2018.
In the reporting period, the terminal continued cooperation with the world’s leading container lines. In 2019, CTSP registered 483 calls with average ship load of 1,571 TEUs.
Under the programme on production equipment modernization aimed at building up the terminal’s throughput capacity, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC (CTSP) put into operation new handling equipment in the end of 2019
The fleet of production equipment was expanded with 19 Kalmar terminal tractors with semitrailers of 65 tonnes in lifting capacity. They are involved in loading/unloading operations for transportation of containers between ships and warehouses as well as for transportation of imported containers to the customs examination area.
The programme covers compensations for medical services, health resort treatment, kids' leisure and sport activities. Under this programme, the company also provided financial assistance to certain categories of employees on the occasions of child birth, retirement, anniversaries and state holidays as well as to CTSP veterans.
