In January-September 2014 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg handled 297k TEU. The throughput remained unchanged compared to the pervious year.
The export volume increased by 6% to 150,6k TEU. The share of full containers in the export volume was 35% (+15% yoy).
The terminal handled 146,3 k TEU of import containers (- 6% yoy), 31,3% of them were reefer containers.
The shares of export and import in the total CTSP volume were 50,7% and 49,3% respectively.
In the first 9 month of 2014 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP) spent 148,4 million rubles on implementation of development program.
147 million rubles were spent on development of the port infrastructure including completion of designing additional infrastructure and upgrading the terminal security system.
Besides, the terminal spent 1,4 million rubles on upgrading the IT infrastructure in order to improve the client service.
In January-September 2014 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP) spent 4,2 million rubles on implementing social and environmental projects.
3,5 million rubles were spent on social support of the employees, primarily on training, sanatorium treatment, health-care activities, sports and leisure. Financial support also included baby bonuses and bereavement payments.
CTSP spent 0,7 million rubles on reducing adverse environmental impact, including 0,45 million spent on wastewater treatment, maintenance of treatment facilities and stormwater pump stations.
