In January-September 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg”  handled 417,600 TEU – 1,5 times more than in the same period last year.

Inbound freight traffic increased year on year by 44% to 191,200 TEU, including 37,700 TEU of laden reefer containers.

Outbound freight traffic increased by 59,5% compared to the same period last year to 226,400 TEU. The shares of full and empty outbound containers in overall throughput in the period under consideration were 41,7% (6,3% increase year on year), and 12,6% (17,6% increase), respectively.

The shares of outbound and inbound containers were 54,2% and 45,8%, respectively.

In 9 months of 2016 CTSP handled 384 vessel calls, with an average call size 1000 TEU.

Excellent result was achieved thanks to concerted efforts of the terminal team, more advantageous terms offered to clients and partners and high service quality.

With this 9-month result CTSP remains a leading sea container terminal in Russia having a 30,6% market share in the ports of St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga.
