CTSP’s social, environmental and charitable programs – 6m 2016 results
In the first six months of 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” spent RUR 4.7 million on the social, environmental and charitable programs.
More than half of that amount (RUR 2,8 million) was spent on the social program, including health care, resort treatment, sports and leisure of the personnel (RUR 2,3 million). Over RUR 584,000 were paid to the employees in need and the employees with newborn babies. Bonuses were paid to employees celebrating jubilees.
More than RUR 1.2 million was spent on the measures aimed at reducing adverse environmental impact, including environmental monitoring, removal and disposal of production and consumer waste, development of compulsory environmental documents (RUR 871,000) and wastewater treatment, maintenance of water treatment facilities and pumping stations of stormwater sewers (RUR 372,000).
In Q1 2016 CTSP spent RUR 702,000 on the corporate charitable program which included acquisition of 60 wheelchairs for the patients of the State Hospital No.14 (Kirovsky district, St. Petersburg) in order to make easier their stay during long-term treatment and movement around the Hospital.
Charitable aid was provided to the children in the Center No.7 for Orphans and Abandoned Children in Kirovsky district. Over RUR 108,000 were spent on sewing stage costumes for the wards of the Center to give more children an opportunity to take part in cultural and leisure activities and creative competitions.
