CTSP’s social, environmental and charity programs in 2016
In 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” spent over 9,8 million rubles on the social, environmental and charity programs.
7,3 million rubles were paid out to the employees and retirees under the corporate social initiative, including emergency bonuses, baby bonuses and retirement bonuses. Financial aid was provided to single parents and employees with large families. Bonuses were paid to employees celebrating anniversaries or long-service employees awarded with the corporate merit badges.
In 2016 the company arranged the celebration of the New Year and the Day of Sea and River Fleet Workers for the employees and their families. The social program also included improvement of working conditions and personnel training.
In 2016 the company was employing 494 people whose average salary in 2016 increased by 16,4% to 78,000 rubles.
Over 1,8 million rubles were spent under the environmental program aimed at mitigating environmental impact, including more than a million spent on environmental monitoring, waste management, preparation of compulsory environmental documents, and over 800,000 rubles spent on protection of water resources (wastewater treatment, maintenance of treatment facilities and storm water pumping stations).
Company’s giving program amounted to 702,000 rubles in 2016, including donation of 60 wheel chairs (594,000 rubles) to the City Hospital No. 14 in the Kirovsky district, St. Petersburg, making more comfortable patients’ long-term treatment and movement around the hospital.
Charitable aid was also provided to the Kirovsky district Center No.7 for Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care – theatrical costumes worth 108,000 rubles were manufactured to make more children able to take part in the cultural events and competitions arranged by the Center.
