JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” recorded a 14,1% year-over-year increase with 476,500 TEUs handled from January through September 2017.

Import container traffic totaled 214,300 TEUs (12,1% more than in the same period of the previous year) including 50,800 TEUs of full reefer containers.

Export traffic increased by 15,8% yoy to 262,200 TEUs. The shares of full and empty export in terminal’s total volume in the period under consideration were 41,4% (13,5% yoy increase) and 13,6% (23,6% increase), respectively.

In the first nine months of 2017 CTSP handled 424 vessel calls with an average of 1,1k TEUs handled per call. 26,2% of the cargoes were dispatched by rail.

CTSP maintains its position as a leading sea container terminal in Russia with a 32% market share in St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga ports.
