Implementation of CTSP's social, enviromental and charity programmes in 2017
In 2017, Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg CJSC allocated about EUR 211,300 for its social, environmental and charity programmes.
The bulk of the allocations, EUR 139,000, were spent for implementation of the social programme to support the company employees including financial assistance to socially troubled ones, compensations for medical services, sports and leisure. Bonuses were provided to the veterans and employees celebrating anniversaries.
In 2017, the company allocated EUR 41,000 for a package of measures aimed to mitigate the negative impact on the environment. They were mostly spent for environmental monitoring, waste management, preparation of obligatory environmental documents as well as protection of water resources, wastewater treatment, maintenance of treatment facilities and storm water pumping stations.
Allocations for charity projects totaled EUR 31,200. They included procurement of medical equipment for City Hospital No 14 in Saint-Petersburg, donations to the church of St. Nikolaos of Myra, the Wonderworker, a spiritual center of Russia’s sea and river workers, which is under construction in Moscow. Besides, CTSP donated EUR 14,200 to the families of victims and those injured by an act of terrorism in Saint-Petersburg metro.
