In the first half of 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” invested 313,5 million rubles in development program.

Greater part of the investments (RUR 230,6 million) was spent on acquisition of the cargo handling and other equipment. In the reporting period agreement was signed on the supply of two new Liebherr mobile harbor cranes LHM-550, including spreaders.

In the first six months of 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg”  spent RUR 4.7 million on the social, environmental and charitable programs.

More than half of that amount (RUR 2,8 million) was spent on the social program, including health care, resort treatment, sports and leisure of the personnel (RUR 2,3 million). Over RUR 584,000 were paid to the employees in need and the employees with newborn babies. Bonuses were paid to employees celebrating jubilees.

In January-September 2016 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg”  handled 417,600 TEU – 1,5 times more than in the same period last year.

Inbound freight traffic increased year on year by 44% to 191,200 TEU, including 37,700 TEU of laden reefer containers.

Outbound freight traffic increased by 59,5% compared to the same period last year to 226,400 TEU. The shares of full and empty outbound containers in overall throughput in the period under consideration were 41,7% (6,3% increase year on year), and 12,6% (17,6% increase), respectively.
