In 2014 JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” handled 387,6k TEU. The throughput decreased by 2,2% compared to 2013 as a result of the general fall of the cargo flows caused by unfavorable economic situation in Russia. Nevertheless, thanks to the efforts to create attractive environment for clients and partners and the cooperation launched with the leading shipping lines the terminal’s rate of fall is 3.2% less than the overall throughput decrease in the Northwest of Russia.
In 2014 Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (CTSP) spent 345 million rubles on implementing its development program, 49% more than in the previous year.
In March 2015 COSCO and Yang Ming launched a new regular integrated feeder service to JSC “Container terminal Saint-Petersburg” (CTSP).
The first call was made on March 16 by SUDEROOG, Yang Ming’s 1, 402-TEU container ship equipped with 250 reefer plugs, which delivered 165 TEU to CTSP.
The second call was made by COSCO. Its 1, 368-TEU HOOGE called the terminal on March 21.
The new weekly container service with the rotation Hamburg – St.Petersburg – Kotka – Hamburg will call the Terminal on Mondays and Saturdays.
